So, you can enjoy the ritzy lifestyle for a day or two as you ski the slopes, and you can take advantage of all the shops that the region has to offer. Who wouldn’t want to visit some of the world’s best chocolate shops, or shop for an authentic time piece from Austria? You will even have time to perfect your skills by skiing on advanced and intermediate slopes, and if you feel up for the challenge, you can take the bus ride up to St. Anton, which is a few minutes away from Lech, and is only recommended for extremely skilled skiers.

If you’re going to be visiting France, you’ll want to check out the Morzine–it’s a great way to ski Europe at your own pace and enjoy the beauty of France in the winter. The slopes are filled with green, lush trees, so you’ll be breathing in fresh air the whole time you’re there, and you can travel the famed Portes du Soleil circuit during your time there, but you may have to take a few cable car rides to get to the lifts. The nightlife near the ski resort is great, however, and you can enjoy fine French food and wine, along with wonderful evening shows and entertainment.
